The NYMEX October contract moved higher on Monday, August 30, settling at U.S. $3.81/MMbtu, up $0.10/MMbtu.

U.S. natural gas storage was up 40 bcf the week ending August 20, 2010. Total working gas in storage is now 2985 bcf.

The US National Weather Service 6-10 day outlook calls for above normal temperatures for most of the central U.S.and below normal temperatures west of the Rockies. The rest of the U.S. should see normal temperatures.
